Mentoring is where a professional Mentor works with the family, one or other of the parents to help them to transition from the intimate relationship of an intact family to the working relationship of a separated family. Mentoring can also help parents to work through challenges, difficulties, and areas of conflict to help reduce the impact on both the parents and children involved.

Mentoring is an empowering service and is not designed to ‘do the work for you’ but instead to help you understand your options and to navigate the most appropriate route towards a resolution that is positive for the children involved.
